After the earlier post today Meshuggah have formally released details surrounding their brand new album The Violent Sleep of Reason.
Today marks the day that Meshuggah officially bring us into the new age. Having slowly but surely written their follow up to 2012’s Koloss, the band have now revealed their hand with the brand new album. Releasing not only the album’s details the band have also made preorders available with a variety of limited edition vinyl, of course!
The album, inspired by a classic Goya painting titled “The Sleep Of Reason Produces Monsters” will feature ten tracks and was produced by the band and Tue Madsen over in Denmark at Puk Studios. As the eagle eyed of you might know the cover art for the record was created by Keerych Luminokaya the same man responsible for Koloss along with The Ophidian Trek etc..
