Machine Head premiered their brand new standalone single yesterday on SiriusXM and it might surprise you.

After the release of their 2014 effort Bloodstone and Diamonds the band decided to release a stand alone single entitled “Is There Anybody Out There?” and I have to say its interesting. All instruments save for drums drop out in the verse whilst Flynn raps(?) and the chorus features symphonic elements.

Not exactly something that Machine Head have been known for, despite this the track itself will dig its claws into you and features somewhat different but no less brilliant song writing the band are known for, its also VERY short for a Machine Head track.
