The official reveal of the US premier Death Metal tour of the year is here. 

As previously spilt by Nile’s Dallas Toler Wade, Cannibal Corpse will be headlining the tenth instalment of the festival. Joining them will be Nile, After The Burial, Suffocation, Carnifex, Revocation, Krisiun, Slaughter to Prevail and Ingested. 

Now THAT is a line up. It’s also worth noting that both Carnifex and Revocation are set to be releasing albums this year. Suffocation have also been working on new material that could make an appearance on the tour. No doubt there will be some grumbling about After The Burial but personally they’re there to attract the Sumerian crowd who will hopefully stay until the end and listen to proper Death Metal. 

Either way celebrating its tenth anniversary the festival still proves to be one of the best in the business. Currently dates haven’t been announced bar the July 23rd to Aug 21 bracket at the bottom. Hard to believe the festival began in 2006, now I feel old.
