Once again although its not been a particularly extravagant week in terms of releases what we have had has been very interesting indeed.

Overkill – White Devil Armory

Fallujah – The Flesh Prevails 

Within The Ruins – Phenomena

Ill Nino – Till Death, La Familia

and ZZ Top Live In Montreaux 

A good week for thrash metallers as we saw the return of Overkill with their latest album White Devil Armory showing that even though they might be old there’s still a lot of life left in them. Then going from old to new with the visionaries that are Fallujah who have seemingly crafted a new form of death metal with their new release The Flesh Prevails (keep an eye out for our review before the week is up)  whilst coming up behind is the slightly less sleek Within The Ruins. With their new release Phenomena although having good ideas in places it just needs to be a bit better thought out. Then nu metal classics Ill Nino released a new record entitled Till Death, La Familia to satisfy any nu metallers appetite and to cap it off rockers ZZ Top released their DVD Live In Montreaux, of their performance in Montreaux playing all the classics and more.
