The Canadian Death Metal merchants have unveiled the albums artwork as well as the chosen release date for their brand new record.

Announcing last week that the band are indeed back and would be releasing a brand new full length, today we have the confirmation that Despised Icon’s brand new album Beast will be released July 22nd via Nuclear Blast. Produced by Yannick St-Amand, who among others has recorded Beneath The Massacre and the unsung heroes that are Neuraxis this should be a fantastic record. Not to mention the mastering by Andy Sneap will no doubt see everythinng sing through the mix.

The artwork was created by Alexandre Goulet and no doubt shows just what this “beast” will entail. A symbiote of a biomechanical animal it looks to reflect the musical ideas fairly well.

No word on when a single might be incoming yet but I would imagine it will be soon no doubt!
