The Italians have been fairly dormant for a while, but have announced their grandiose return with a live DVD and a brand new studio album.

With the band signing a new record deal with Frontiers, they have capitalised on the opportunity to present the future plans for the band. That includes a brand new DVD that showcases their live performance in Tokyo, and a brand new studio album – their first in 5 years.

Secret Sphere are one of power metal’s underground gems, and rank amongst my all-time favourite bands. The new material is something I am greatly looking forward to!

The DVD is due in the fall of this year, while the new studio album is slated for early 2017.
