With Slipknot taking a small break, it seems frontman Corey Taylor is eager to get things rolling with Stone Sour again. The band have announced they have returned to the studio to complete work on the follow-up to ‘House of Gold and Bones‘.
The album, said to be in a more rock ‘n’ roll direction than typical Stone Sour of past, is set to be completed at the studio of drummer Roy Mayorga, but there is nothing to suggest any more album news as of yet.
Most likely we will see the record at the end of the year, and should be an interesting sound given all the changes in the Stone Sour personnel!
