Earlier this year we were shown a multitude of some of the Nuclear Blast releases that were headed our way. Some came to fruition seeing the new releases from Fear Factory, Nile and the like though others did not.

Among them was All Shall Perish, reaching a certain state of limbo after the departure of long time vocalist Eddie Hermida the band have been in cryosleep and now it seems like they are waking up. Teasing on their website that something called The Rotting King will be coming our way soon the band might be releasing a new album.

Though perhaps that might be a little ambitious, I for one am really hoping it’s true. Maybe an EP of some sort or perhaps a new song. Either way something is a foot in the All Shall Perish camp. It will be interesting to see what kind of direction the band might go in as they have essentially been given a clean slate and the previous album This Is Where It Ends was one of the band’s best.
