A couple of months back one Devin Townsend decided to bring the theatrics of last years double release Z2 to one of London’s most hallowed venues, the Royal Albert Hall.

Sadly for us we sorely missed out on what was sure to be one of the best performances in a long time if not ever. The Devin Townsend Project descended upon the Royal Albert Hall in London’s Kensington to perform the entire Dark Matters section of the double album complete with walking poozers along with a special “By Request” set list. Now that the man has finally finished editing all of the footage we can see a trailer for the performance and it looks epic.

Truly one of the most momentous occasions in Metal no doubt, the man performs tracks from across his lauded catalogue along with a full stage choir for final and incredibly poignant rendition of “Universal Flame“. Watch it here and make sure that whatever format you choose, you pick this up!
