Darkest Hour have just unleashed a new song of their forthcoming, self titled record. Having not released any material for sometime they have finally broken the silence with the new tune “Wasteland”. First impressions are not overly amazing, having been signed to Sumerian Records, it seems that it is mandatory for all bands to adopt the seven string guitar method. “Wasteland” has some interesting ideas in it and a very catchy chorus and an average solo but doesn’t hark back to the days when Darkest Hour used to rule the metalcore scene, however this is only one song off their upcoming album so this could all change in hindsight! Either way

The new album will released on the 5th August 2014.
